Up to my ears in something = to have more of something especially work, than you want or can deal with.

Beats me = said when you do not know the answer to something or can not understand the reasons for something.
(وقتی جواب یه سوالی رو نمیدونی و یا دلیل چیزی رو نمیفهمی)

Let bygones be bygones = used to say that you should try to forget something bad that someone has done to you and forgive them.
(فراموش کردن بدی ها و بخشیدن طرف مقابل)

Play hooky = stay away from school or work when you should be there. (از مدرسه و کار جیم شدن)

Somebody's name is mud = if your name is mud, people are annoyed with you because you have caused trouble. It also means that you will be criticized or your reputation will be spoiled.

Speak of the devil = said when a person who you are talking about comes into the room. (وقتی راجع به یکی داری صحبت میکنی از در میاد تو)

عبارت صفتی؛ عبارتی است که یک اسم را توصیف می کند.

زیرا چون عبارت یک صفت است مستقیما بعد از اسمی که آن را توصیف می کند قرار می گیرد.

Have a field day = to have a chance to do what you want especially a chance to criticize someone.
(داشتن یک شانس برای انجام کارهایی که می خواهید)

In tandem with = happening at the same time.
(همزمان اتفاق افتادن)

Make it =
1. To be successful in a particular activity or profession.
(موفقیت در یک حرفه)
2. To arrive somewhere in time for something.

Get it straight = to understand the true facts about a situation.
