طراحان شیوه های تدریس دهه ۱۹۷۰

زمانی که انقلاب چامسکیایی در زبان شناسی ؛ زبان شناسان و معلمان زبان را به سمت ژرف ساخت زبان سوق داد و زمانی که روان شناسان به تدریج به ماهیت بین شخصی و اصولا عاطفی تمامی یادگیری ها پی بردند؛ عصر روش تدریس شنیداری - گفتاری با تاکیدش بر اشکال و صورت های ساختی و تمرین طوطی وار الگوهایی که به طور علمی تولید می شوند شروع به افول نمود.

دهه ۱۹۷۰ یک دهه آشفته اما بسیار سودمند بود که در خلال آن تحقیقات در مورد زبان دوم نه تنها موقعیت اصلیخود را یافت بلکه باعث ایجاد روش های ابتکاری در آموزش زبان شد.

به همان صورت که اهمیت فوق العاده عوامل عاطفی و شناختی در یادگیری زبان دوم مشخص می شد؛ شیوه های خاصی در آموزش زبان پدیدار می شدند.

هدف این تلاش ها روشن ساختن و برجسته نمودن عوامل روان شناسی در موقعیت یادگیرندگان زبان بود. در همان زمان از این روش ها به عنوان روش های ابداعی و انقلابی یاد می شد به ویژه هنگامی که روش شناسی شنیداری - گفتاری و دستوری - ترجمه ای مقایسه می شد.

ادعاهایی که موسسین و طرفداران این شیوه ها داشتند اغلب به منظور جذب معلمان به جلسات و سمینارهای پایان هفته و به سمت کتب ؛ کاست ها ؛ و نوارهای ویدیویی جدید و البته در جهت رساندن یادگیرندگان به بالاترین حد توانایی مبالغه و اغراق می شد.

این ادعاها که اغلب مبالغه شده و بیش از حد تعمیم داده می شوند دیوید نونان را بر آن داشت تا از روش های آن روز به عنوان طراح شیوه های تدریس یاد کند.

وعده های موفقیت ؛ موفقیت آمیز و مناسب برای همه علیرغم ادعاهای بسیار محکمی که علیه این شیوه ها صورت گرفت و با این حال (الف) این شیوه ها بخش مهمی از تاریخ آموزش زبان ما بودند و (ب) این شیوه ها بینش هایی را به ما عرضه داشتند که هنوز کارهای آموزشی از پرتو آنها بهره مند است.

روش تدریس whole language

مقدمه


واژه whole language در سال ۱۹۸۰ توسط گروهی از معلمان امریکایی اختراع شد که در اموزش زبان مادری به خواندن و نوشتن توجه زیادی داشتند.

آموزش خواندن و نوشتن در زبان اول یک اقدام فعال اموزشی محسوب میشود. یکی از روش های اموزش خواندن و نوشتن بر روی روش رمزگشایی زبان است.

یعنی در این روش بر روی اموزش اجزای مختلف زبان مانند گرامر ؛ لغات ؛ آواشناسی بطور جداگانه تاکید میشود.

روش تدریس با نگرش طبیعی (the natural approach)

نظریات استیفن کرشن در فراگیری زبان دوم به صورتی گسترده و داغ از دهه ۱۹۷۰ مورد بحث واقع شده است. مهم ترین بخش روش شناسی آثار کرشن در روش تدریس با نگرشی طبیعی متجلی شده و توسطیکی از همکارانش به نام ترسی ترل بسط داده شده است.

با توجه به بسیاریاز ادعاهایی که آشر در مورد روش تدریس پاسخ فیزیکی کامل داشت ؛ کرشن و ترل احساس می کردند یاد گیرنده ها از به تاخیر انداختن تولید زبانی تا زمانی که گفتار پدیدار شود سود خواهند برد.

یادگیرنده ها می بایست در کلاس تا حد ممکن راحت و آرام باشند و در نتیجه ارتباط و فراگیری زیادی می بایست صورت گیرد.

ترجمه ی سوره نحل به زبان انگلیسی

1) The command of Allah is coming, so be not impatient for it.
Exalted is He and high above what they associate with Him.
2) He sends down the angels, with the inspiration [i.e., revelation] of His command, upon whom He wills of His servants, [telling them], "Warn that there is no deity except Me, so fear Me."
3) He created the heavens and earth in truth. High is He above what they associate with Him.
4) He created man from a sperm-drop; then at once, he is a
clear adversary.
5) And the grazing livestock He has created for you; in them is warmth and [numerous] benefits, and from them you eat.

ترجمه ی سوره حجر به زبان انگلیسی

1) Alif, Lam, Ra. These are the verses of the Book and a clear
Qur'an [i.e., recitation].
2) Perhaps those who disbelieve will wish that they had been
Muslims.
3) Let them eat and enjoy themselves and be diverted by [false]
hope, for they are going to know.
4) And We did not destroy any city but that for it was a known decree.
5) No nation will precede its term, nor will they remain thereafter.
6) And they say," O you upon whom the message has been sent down, indeed you are mad.

ترجمه ی سوره ی ابراهیم به زبان انگلیسی

1) Alif, Lam, Ra. [This is] a Book which We have revealed to you, [O Muhammad], that you might bring mankind out of darknesses into the light by permission of their Lord – to the path of the Exalted in Might, the Praiseworthy –
2) Allah, to whom belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. And woe [i.e., destruction] to the disbelievers from a severe punishment –
3) The ones who prefer the worldly life over the Hereafter and avert [people] from the way of Allah. Those are in extreme error.
4) And We did not send any messenger except [speaking] in the language of his people to state clearly for them, and Allah sends astray [thereby] whom He wills and guides whom He wills. And He is Exalted in Might, the Wise.
5) And We certainly sent Moses with Our signs, [saying], "Bring out your people from darknesses into the light and remind them of the days of Allah." Indeed in that are signs for everyone patient and grateful.

ترجمه ی سوره ی رعد به زبان انگلیسی

1) Alif, Lam, Meem, Ra.These are the verses of the Book; and what has been revealed to you from your Lord is the truth, but most of the people do not believe.

2) It is Allah who erected the heavens without pillars that you [can] see; then He established Himself above the Throne and made subject the sun and the moon, each running [its course] for a specified term. He arranges [each] matter; He details the signs that you may, of the meeting with your Lord be certain.

3) And it is He who spread the earth and placed therein firmly set mountains and rivers; and from all of the fruits He made two mates; He causes the night to cover the day. Indeed in that are signs for a people who give thought.

ترجمه ی سوره ی یوسف به زبان انگلیسی

1) Alif, Lam, Ra. These are the verses of the clear Book.
2) Indeed, We have sent it down as an Arabic Qur'an that you might understand.
3) We relate to you, [O Muhammad], the best of stories in what We have revealed to you of this Qur'an although you were, before it, among the unaware.
4) [Of these stories mention] when Joseph said to his father, "O
my father, indeed I have seen [in a dream] eleven stars and the
sun and the moon; I saw them prostrating to me."
5) He said, "O my son, do not relate your vision to your brothers or they will contrive against you a plan. Indeed Satan, to man, is a manifest enemy.
6) And thus will your Lord choose you and teach you the interpretation of narratives [i.e., events or dreams] and complete His favor upon you and upon the family of Jacob, as He completed it upon your fathers before, Abraham and Isaac. Indeed, your Lord is Knowing and Wise."
